Maths Fiesta 2024 transformed Mathematics into an exciting adventure, inspiring students to develop their curiosity, problem-solving skills and appreciation for the subject through a series of engaging challenges and interactive activities.

The celebration featured the SLS gamified lesson, Maths Fiesta 2024: The Quest for the Torch of Mathematical Wisdom, where students completed mathematical challenges to earn points and badges. Classes with the highest scores were recognised for their enthusiasm, teamwork and mathematical thinking.

Students also put their skills to the test through a variety of exciting competitions. The Pi Memory Challenge challenged participants to recall as many digits of Pi as possible, while the Sudoku Showdown tested their logical thinking and speed in solving puzzles. The Tower of Hanoi Challenge encouraged strategic planning and perseverance, and the popular Jellybean Jackpot added an element of fun as students estimated the number of jelly beans in a jar.

Through these activities, Maths Fiesta 2024 demonstrated that Mathematics extends beyond the classroom, encouraging students to think critically, embrace challenges and discover the joy of learning through play, collaboration and friendly competition.
