CCKSS Featured in SingTeach Issue 94

Choa Chu Kang Secondary School (CCKSS) is proud to be featured twice in SingTeach Issue 94 (October 2025), under the theme “Building Knowledge, Building Futures in the Age of AI.” Spanning five of the sixteen pages, the articles spotlight CCKSS’s transformative Knowledge Building (KB) journey and its innovative efforts in shaping an inquiry-driven, collaborative, and future-ready learning culture. The features — “The Journey of Becoming a Knowledge-Building School” (pages 4–6) and “From Participation to Insight: Lessons from a Knowledge Building Project” (pages 13–14) — highlight how our educators, students, and alumni collectively drive pedagogical innovation, professional growth, and a strong CAN (Collaboration, Adaptability, Networking) culture. This recognition affirms our school’s commitment to nurturing lifelong learners and fostering a dynamic, knowledge-building community.

Over the past few years, I’ve witnessed a quiet but powerful transformation sweep through the classrooms and corridors of Chua Chu Kang Secondary School. It is not just in the lessons being taught—but in how we think about learning, how we engage with ideas, and most importantly, how we treat one another as a community of learners. This shift began when we embraced the philosophy of Knowledge Building—a belief that knowledge is best constructed socially and authentically, with every learner taking co-ownership of the problems, processes and practices. And as we did so, something profound started to happen.
