Chua Chu Kang Secondary School Open House 2025: Celebrating Community, Curiosity and Connections

Chua Chu Kang Secondary School (CCKSS) welcomed prospective students and families to its annual Open House, bringing the campus to life with vibrant showcases, engaging activities, and warm conversations. This year’s event was especially meaningful as it reflected our 2025 school theme, “Together We Excel”, highlighting the power of unity, collaboration, and shared achievement within the CCKSS community.

A Warm Welcome to Our Visitors

Guests were greeted by our friendly and dedicated student ambassadors who guided them through the school’s facilities and learning spaces. Along the way, visitors had the opportunity to speak with teachers and learn more about CCKSS’s holistic approach to education—balancing academic excellence with strong values, character development, and student well-being.

Through these interactions, guests experienced firsthand how the CCKSS community embodies our theme, working together to support every student in reaching their full potential.

Vibrant Showcases by CCAs and Signature Programmes

A major highlight of the Open House was the lively array of booths and demonstrations by our Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and signature programmes. Students proudly shared their experiences, achievements, and learning journeys through hands-on activities and interactive displays.

Our Signature Programmes were featured prominently, including:

• Applied Learning Programme (ALP)

• Learning for Life Programme (LLP)

• Global Connect Programme

These showcases truly captured the spirit of “Together We Excel” as students and staff worked side by side to present the rich opportunities available at CCKSS.

Parent Support Group: Strengthening Home–School Partnership

The Parent Support Group (PSG) ↗ (opens in new tab) also played a key role in the Open House, hosting a welcoming booth where parent volunteers shared their experiences supporting school initiatives and building a strong parent community. Their presence highlighted the importance of home–school collaboration—an essential part of our belief that when we work together, every student excels.
