Maths Fiesta 2024, launched on July 9th, aimed to ignite a passion for Mathematics through engaging activities. The event included the SLS Gamification lesson ‘Maths Fiesta 2024: The Quest for the Torch of Mathematical Wisdom’, where students earned points and badges. Prizes were awarded to classes with the highest scores. Highlights included the Pi Memory Challenge for recalling digits of Pi, the Sudoku Showdown for puzzle-solving speed, and the Tower of Hanoi for strategic thinking. The Jellybean Jackpot allowed participants to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar, adding an element of fun and anticipation to the event.
