CCKSS at the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference

Chua Chu Kang Secondary School was honoured to be one of only two schools invited to exhibit at the prestigious Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference, a global event attended by more than 1,000 educators, researchers and thought leaders from around the world.

At the conference, CCKSS showcased its longstanding collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE) in advancing Knowledge Building, as well as its leadership in Singapore's Knowledge Building Networked Learning Community (KBNLC). The exhibition highlighted the school's commitment to innovative teaching and learning practices that empower CCKSians to become active contributors to knowledge.

Guided by Mr Melvin Chan and Mdm Izzati, our CCKSians confidently shared their Knowledge Building journey with an international audience, demonstrating CCKSS's signature AI-CRAFT Pedagogical Approach. Through authentic conversations and interactive demonstrations, they explained how the approach encourages critical thinking, meaningful collaboration and innovative problem-solving while nurturing confident and future-ready learners.

A memorable highlight of the event was the opportunity for our CCKSIans to present their learning experiences to Singapore's Minister for Education, Mr Desmond Lee. They also engaged educators, researchers and guests from around the world, sharing their perspectives with confidence, authenticity and enthusiasm.

This invitation reflects Chua Chu Kang Secondary School's continued commitment to educational innovation and excellence. We are immensely proud of our CCKSians for representing the school on the international stage and exemplifying the qualities of curious, adaptable and confident lifelong learners.
