Spreading Festive Cheer: CCKSS Staff and PSG Give Back to the Community
In the spirit of care, compassion and togetherness, CCKSS staff and members of our Parent Support Group (PSG) came together for a meaningful Values in Action (VIA) initiative to pack Chinese New Year hampers for the community.
With the Lunar New Year approaching, our staff and parent volunteers worked hand in hand to prepare festive hampers, spreading warmth and goodwill to members of the community. Beyond the simple act of packing, the initiative reflected a shared commitment to giving back and bringing joy to others during this festive season.
The activity also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the school and our PSG. Through their time, effort and generosity, our parent volunteers demonstrated how families and educators can work together to make a positive difference beyond the school gates.
More than a festive initiative, the hamper-packing activity brought our school values of Care and Respect to life. It reminded us that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference and that the spirit of giving is an important part of building a caring and inclusive society.
Embodying our school theme, “Growing Together, Thriving Together,” the initiative celebrated the strength of our CCKSS community and our collective commitment to extending care and compassion to those around us.
As we ushered in the Lunar New Year, we were reminded that the greatest joy of the season lies not only in celebration, but also in sharing our blessings with others.
