Sports Challenge 2026: The Game Ends, but the Values Remain

Sports Challenge 2026 brought the CCKSS community together for an energetic celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork and class spirit. From physical sports and mind games to e-sports, the inclusive programme ensured that every CCKSian had an opportunity to participate and contribute.

Across the school, CCKSians took part in activities such as basketball, frisbee and tchoukball. Each game tested not only their physical abilities but also their communication, decision-making and ability to work as a team. Classmates cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, encouragement and school spirit.

The challenge extended beyond the sports courts. CCKSians also competed in e-sports and mind games such as Scrabble, providing different ways for them to demonstrate concentration, strategic thinking and teamwork. This wide range of activities allowed CCKSians with different strengths and interests to shine.

While our CCKSians were eager to win, their reflections showed that Sports Challenge was about much more than the final results. Many shared that the games helped them communicate more effectively, make new friends and strengthen bonds with their classmates. Our CCKSians learned to manage their nerves, support one another through challenging moments and celebrate each other’s efforts and achievements. Some CCKSians even competed with their parents - and discovering that daddy and mummy can still run faster than they can!

Throughout the event, our CCKSians displayed perseverance, respect and good sportsmanship. Whether competing, strategising or cheering from the sidelines, everyone played an important role in building a positive and supportive environment.

The competitions may have ended, but the laughter, friendships and memories created during Sports Challenge 2026 will remain. More importantly, the event reminded our CCKSians that while sports develop skills, sportsmanship builds character. By playing hard, supporting one another and growing together, students strengthened their sense of belonging as one CCKSS family.
