Our CCKSians were delighted to host students from Tin Shui Wai Government Secondary School, Hong Kong, for an enriching three-day exchange programme!
This exchange is part of a signature annual programme between Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Hong Kong Education Bureau (HK-EDB). Dating back to 2000, the programme promotes cultural exchange and provides students with opportunities to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their social and language skills, and cultivate respect for cultural differences—important Emerging 21st Century Competencies (E21CC).
During their time at CCKSS, our visitors participated in academic lessons and experienced our signature programmes, including cultural workshops and immersive VR activities. Our CCKSian student buddies served as warm and enthusiastic ambassadors, accompanying their Hong Kong counterparts throughout the programme and forming meaningful friendships along the way.
Our host families also opened their homes to the visiting students, giving them an authentic experience of Singaporean family life and culture.
The three-day programme created valuable opportunities for learning, friendship and cultural discovery. We hope our friends from Hong Kong enjoyed a meaningful and memorable stay at CCKSS!
